Some of you have been reading this blog long enough to remember my initial feelings on Richmond. I wasn’t shy about disliking it at first. In fact, my husband and I traveled all over the USA in search of where to move.
Guess what? Around the same time we decided nowhere we loved was realistic from a professional/financial perspective, Richmond started growing up. It developed a personality, added things to do that meshed with our interests, and people started relocating into RVA — people who we now call our friends. We like it so much we bought a home and have no intention of moving anytime soon.
That’s a mouthful to introduce a recent podcast on Richmond, the city I now call home and a city I’ve learned to love.
It was a pleasure to be invited on the Amateur Traveler to speak about the city from a traveler’s perspective.
I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed sharing.
